Hole Spacing in Base of C.E. Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10052-32G
Updated 04/27/2012 | Published 04/25/2012 >
Question:
What is the hole spacing in the base? Is it sufficient to mount the bracket to a 2inch x 5inch frame rail with U bolts 2 1/8? Thank you.

According to my contact at C.E. Smith, the manufacturer of the Bolster Bracket you referenced, the center to center dimension of the two holes in the base of the bracket is 1-1/4 inches with a 5/8 inch space between the two holes.
Using U-bolts to mount the bracket would work just fine.
I have edited a photo for you that shows the dimensions.
