In order to add a 7-way trailer connector to a 1989 Ford F-350 you will need to combine a few parts as they do not make one complete kit for this vehicle. However, all that will be needed is the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM40125 and then the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7. The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness provides a 4-way and will plug into a port behind the rear bumper and then the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller will plug into this providing the rest of the circuits needed for a 7-way. The black wire will be run to the battery, the blue into the cab, the white to a ground, and then the yellow wire is tied off.
If you also need a brake controller, the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 would be a good choice. The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller comes with everything needed to install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller. I know you are looking for an all-in-one kit but that is just simply not available for this vehicle which is why you will need to combine the below:
Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM40125
Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7
Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 (If Needed)
