Question:
I understand the ball has a 9 inch . How long is the whole thing from the top of the receiver hitch to the bottom most part of the gusset plate?

Expert Reply:
I went out in to our warehouse to measure a B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10050B and found that from the top of the shank that slides into the hitch receiver to the bottom-most portion of the ball mount it measures 12-1/2 inches.
