Question:

Is the oem puck system the same for a 2014 f350 and a 2017 f350? Have a Reese fifth wheel hitch in my 2014 but looking at a 2017 and was wondering about keeping the same hitch

Yes. The factory puck system in the 2014 Ford F-350 and the 2017 Ford F-350 are going to be the same, so your hitch that fits in the factory puck system on your 2014 F-350 can be used in your new truck. This OEM puck system will fit most 5th wheel hitches that have industry standard leg spacing.

If you've got a Reese hitch like the # RP30928 , you'll still need to use an underbed rail adapter kit like the Reese Underbed Rail kit # RP30156 to mount this hitch in the OEM puck system.
