Question:
On my truck, the charging system comes on only when the truck is running. Is there a way to wire the system to always be on? I ask because I tow an enclosed trailer and need to use the 12v lights when the truck is off. It seems to be a waste of fuel to have the truck running just to have 12v power to trailer accessories.

I do have a way to wire up the 7-way of your 2018 Ford F-350 so that the 12 volt power circuit is active all the time. What you'd need to do is take 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 from the positive post of your vehicle battery to the 12 volt pin of the 7-way (1:00 position) and you'd have a complete charge circuit that is on all the time and won't require your truck to be running
