Availability of Blue Ox Base Plate to Tow Bar Pin Lock
Published 10/25/2019 >
Question:
Your written info suggests this is to lock one of the two connecting pins between the tow bar “arms” and the base plate attached to the bottom of the vehicle - which is what I need. The video suggests this is a lock for a “receiver” locking pin. Which is it?

The Blue Ox Base-Plate-to-Tow-Bar Lock # BX8859 is what you are looking for and is designed for locking a Blue Ox base plate to a Blue Ox tow bar. It has a 1/2 inch diameter which is the correct size for a 1-1/4 inch hitch size hitch pin so it could maybe be used for that but it's actual design was for your application.
