Question:

Good afternoon. What is the measurement between the ears of the receiver where the tow bar would connect? The male portion of the towbar into the female portion of the receiver left or right where then you connect with the pin.

The tabs on the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kits are 2-1/4" wide inside to inside. These tabs are designed specially for Roadmaster tow bars such as the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar part # RM-676. That said, there are adapters available that allow you to use different brand tow bar so just let me know what you have and I will see if one is available. The Blue Ox Tow Bar to Roadmaster Base Plates Adapter Brackets part # BX88185 allows you to attach a Blue Ox tow bar or the Demco Tow Bar Adapter for Roadmaster Base Plates part # DM9523032 allows you to attach a Demco tow bar for example.
