Question:
Hi there, we recently purchased a 1995 Jayco popup camper 1006 that needs new tires. It has 12 inch wheels and I am looking at the Kenda K353 bias trailer tire. I just want to make sure this is my best option. We do a lot of mountain driving and will be mainly doing shortish trips, but have plans for longer trips. Any help would be great!

The best trailer tire solution for a 12 inch wheel will be the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT53012C for a couple big reasons. One being that the tire is a radial which is much preferred to the bias ply style of tire you referenced. They handle better overall and have a bit more flex in the sidewall which gives better ground contact, traction, stability, and tread wear. Plus they run cooler.
And this tire has a higher speed rating of 81 mph which is nice for longer trips where you'd need to go faster than what most trailer tires are limited by (65 mph). All of the 12 inch trailer tire sizes all fit the same wheels so while this might look like a different size it will fit your wheel and camper well. I attached a review video for more info on this tire as well.
