Hi, I want to wire my Fantastic Fan roof vent to a cigarette lighter plug to connect into my portable power bank, which has a compatible socket. Can you recommend a plug or connector that will work for this purpose? Im not sure what the requirements are as far as amps and such. Thanks very much for your help!

Yes, you can wire the Rear View Safety Cigarette Lighter Adapter # RVS-505 to your Fantastic Fan # FV802250.

All Fantastic Fans, including # FV802250, use the same "pancake style" motor which draws 4 amps so in order for a portable power bank with a 12 volt DC outlet (like the Goal Zero # 287-22004) to be able to power the fan, it has to be rated for at least 4 amps and 48 watts.

This is calculated using the following formula:

Amps = Watts ÷ Volts OR Watts = Amps x Volts
