What Tire Pressure Should Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Trailer Tire with Galvanized Wheel # AM30030 Inflate To

Question:
Hello, I recently bought this tire from etrailer and I have a question about its use. Im pulling a light load 130 lbs. on a Load Rite Bandit trailer with single leaf spring and Id like to know a low tire pressure setting so the load jostles less on bumps and other un-evenness of the road. The tire says 60psi is max pressure, but no mention is made of low pressure. Thank you kindly, Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8inch Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B, Item # AM30030

Expert Reply:
With trailer tires you have to always keep them inflated to their max pressure to ensure the tire has it's full weight capacity and also to prevent heat build up. I know it's tempting to lower the psi to see if that helps the trailer's ride quality but you will end up with tire failure most likely if you do so.
With the # AM30030 that you have you need to make sure it always has 60 psi.
