Question:
I have a Dexter 8-19A hub. I wish to convert from the present 4 lug hub to 5 lug hub. The present hub has L44649 inner and outer bearings. From what I understand the 8-19A hub is suppose to have a grease fitting with an inner diameter of 1.5 inches but my spindle grease seal has an inner diameter of 1.24 inches to mactch the my spindle. The spindle dimensions are in the attached photo. Some indications are its a BTR spindle but the grease fitting is for a BT8 spindle. Any suggestions on a 5 lug hub kit for this spindle will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the picture you included that has the dimensions of your spindle. Based on that you do have a BTR spindle so for a hub with the 5 lug bolt pattern you wan you'd need the # 8-259-50UC1 and you'd be set. Your spindle not having a grease fitting is also not a big deal at all. That does not affect the fit of the hub to the spindle at all.
