The 20.5 x 8 x 10 trailer tire is an older tire size that is closely related to the newer tire like part # AM3H490. The 205/65-10 tire size is considered a direct replacement for the 20.5 x 8 x 10 tire.
To calculate the revolutions that any tire will make in a given distance you need to do some calculations. First, calculate the number of inches in the distance that the tire will be required to roll. In this case 63,360 inches makes 1 mile.
Next, calculate the circumference by multiplying the diameter by pi. In this case 20.5 inches x 3.14 = 64.37. You can get a more precise number by adding additional decimal places to the pi figure.
Now, divide the number of inches by the circumference of the tire. In this case 63,360/64.37 = 984.3 revolutions per mile.
