Question:

Hey guys we, we have had our trailor for a few years now and been to some pretty incredible places, however we are looking to raise the suspension on our trailer a few inches as well as something more suitable for off road as the majority of places we go, no one else gets to go. our trailer is a 19foot trailer 1998 wilderness tandem axle.

I do have several options to lift a trailer but in order to see if any of these will work for you I would need to know what type of suspension system you have on your trailer now, leaf springs or torsion. If you have leaf springs which is the most common type then we have two options depending on if your leaf springs are over your axle tube or under your axle tube. If the leaf springs are over your axle tube then you will need to use the Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX which lifts the trailer about 2-1/4". If your leaf springs are under the axle tube then you can use the above or the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit part # K71-384-00 if you have 2-3/8" diameter axle tubes or part # K71-385-00 if you have 3" diameter axles tubes. The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit will lift your trailer equal to the diameter of the axle plus the height of the leaf springs stack.

If you have a torsion suspension system then I would need to know both the brand and the serial number off your axle tube.
