What Does Blue Light on Furrion Observation Camera Indicate

Is this normal for the little blue light on the camera to stay on?

If the blue light is active on the camera that would indicate that it's receiving power and is "on". Most likely the camera is wired to the trailer's 12 volt battery as a power source instead of to the running lights or reverse light circuit like some do. Does the monitor display what the camera sees at all times then when it is powered on as well?
