We do have a video that should help, but not one specifically on the Primus, # TK90160, and a 2006 Ford Explorer. What we do have is a typical brake controller installation on a 2008 Ford Explorer that should help. It will wire in the same (if the vehicle came with a factory 4-Way trailer connector). I have included a link to the video for you. You will also need an installation kit like # ETBC7 to complete the installation.
If the vehicle came with a factory installed 7-Way, installation is a lot easier. You will just need wiring harness # 3035-P. One end plugs into the back of the brake controller. The other end plugs into a factory connector located behind the glove compartment on the passengers side of the vehicle. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
