Question:

Im looking for a bike rack for my 2017 Ram 1500 with a Rambox, for use when towing my RV. Ive also been thinking about mounting on the RVs bumper -but that would be bouncy behind 30 feet of RV trailer and it would obstruct the camera-view that I use as a rear view mirror while driving. It seems like there would be a cross-bar set for the Rambox that would make this really easy... The Rambox cargo rails look pretty standard - do you have a Thule set or similar that would lock into them? I need something that can lock the bikes in place obviously, as this is for more than just point a to point b, it would be point a to b, c, d, e, f, and several weeks in between.

We have truck bed bike racks that fit your 2017 Ram 1500 with the Ram Boxes like the Thule Insta-Gater Pro part # TH93VR which uses anchors to attach to a closed tailgate.

To lock it you'd use the integrated lock for the bike, but you'd need to add the lock setup # TH450200 which locks the bikes to the rack. As long as your tailgate is lockable it would lock the rack to the vehicle.

Or for a rack that attaches to the track system you could use the RockyMounts LoBall part # RKY1097 which comes with locks as well.
