Recommended Coupler Lock for a Tie-Down Engineering TDE Model 660 Brake Actuator

Updated 09/04/2019 | Published 09/03/2019

Question:

Hi I have a Lil Snoozy Camper which is on a Wesco boat chassis. I am looking for a trailer coupler lock to protect this trailer while we are away from it. I see many options including the lock in the subject line. I was curious which of your coupler locks will work with the trailer which has a Tie Down Engineering brand model 660 Brake actuator on the front of the trailer. Would like to err toward a beefy lock as currently I received one of the last units of the production line.

I have two recommended options for you to lock the Tie-Down Engineering (TDE) Model 660 Brake Actuator, the Master Lock Trailer Coupler Lock part # ML389DAT or the Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock part # FA86-0015-316. These are my two favorite trailer coupler locks and they will both work well with your brake actuator. The Master Lock is our most popular option but the Fastway is a bit beefier so this is actually what I recommend for you. The Fastway also has a cover for the lock core to keep out dirt and debris.

The Trailer Coupler Lock part # 63228 would also work for you as well and is a good in between option for the above but I would still place the Fastway above this.
