Can the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer Be Stored Upright in a Parking Spot with the Tow Vehicle
Updated 05/08/2023 | Published 05/05/2023 >
Question:
Can I store this upright behind my car in a busy parking lot to take only one space? Or is it easy to unhook and sit upright, and what would the depth be? Thank you

The Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08107 can be stored upright. The trailer is 22" tall, so if stored upright the depth will be around 22". Give or take a little because it does sit at a slight angle when upright.
It can be unhooked and stood up rather easily, the biggest question will be whether the parking space will be deep enough to fit the tow vehicle and trailer. Unless they are deep spots or you have a short vehicle, the odds of fitting both in one spot without excessive overhang would be low.
I have included a video that demonstrates the upright process starting around the 4:50 mark.
