Will Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 Work on 2015 Ford Transit T250

Question:

Many of these Vans came with the tow package 7-way etc-They did not install the brake controller at the factory however the plug in adapter is under the cup holder-If you order the OEM controller it works fine-You will not get the output info etc on the dash unless you have it flashed by a dealer-then again most controllers except P-3 dont display much info. There is software you can use to do it yourself-but taking it to the dealer will cost less in the end. The Curt Echo wireless might be the solution? I bought my Prodigy - 3 from you folks 3 years ago and had no issues until an internal short in the unit that drained the battery. I can splice back the trailer brake wire Blue under the carriage and use the phone- to Curt Wireless Any issues before I order? Repeat customer

The Curt Echo # C51180 will work great in your 2015 Ford Transit T250. It wouldn't have any issues with your current wiring setup and basically it would just plug in and be functional once you sync it to your smart phone.
