Good, Better and Best Option To Carry Bikes In Bed of 2019 Ram 1500 With RamBox

Question:

will either the swagman or bed rider fit in a Ram 1500 that has a Ram Box storage system, along with the tie down rail system? Im concerned that the bar wont retract far enough to fit in the space. I suppose I could cut the male end of the bar to make it work....thoughts?

The best option is to use 2 of the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Single Bike Rack part # TH93VR to carry the bikes in the bed. This is a wheel mount option and not fork mount carrier and does not require drilling into the bed. The Insta-Gater is held in place by the tailgate opening of the truck bed so it does not require any tools for installation.
