Question:
My Roadmaster brake monitor shows a green light and Equinox tail lights show that it brakes with RV, however, when I brake the red lights flash and the the monitor alarms in RV....whats up?

Red lights flashing with the Roadmaster Brake Monitor part # RM-9530 with an audible alert indicates a breakaway is in progress.
The yellow wire of this kit attaches to the breakaway kit wiring installed on the tow vehicle. When voltage is applied on this circuit the alert thinks a breakaway has occurred. You must have a miswire somewhere that is putting voltage on this circuit when you apply the breaks.
