Question:
Do I need the exact lock for the Skybox 16 to replace both sides. I broke the keys off in the lock.

Expert Reply:
Because all Yakima products use lock cores for the Same Key System, any Yakima lock core will work.
In order to replace the lock cores you will need to get the broken keys out of the locks. Once you've gotten the broken keys out, then use the Control Key for your Yakima Same Key System to remove the locks- if you've lost your Control Key, a replacement can be obtained by purchasing a new set of lock cores like the # Y07202. Once you've accomplished this, you will be able to switch them out with # Y07202 which is a 2 pack of lock cores and matching keys plus the control key for removing lock cores.
Unfortunately if you're unable to get the keys out of the locks, you won't be able to replace them .
