Is There a Way to Lock Yakima Shovel Mount Y07078

Hello, I just purchased the shovel / axe mount item # Y07078 for my Yakima LoadWarrior roof rack. I noticed that there isnt a way to lock the shovel or axe down to the rack itself so I have been looking for alternative options to accomplish this. I already utilize the SKS system for my Yakima bike and it would be great to utilize that same system for this as well. My question is: Will item # Y07220 be compatible to work with item # Y07078 as an option to lock an axe / shovel to my roof rack? Ive been looking all over your website and havent been able to locate this question / answer anywhere. Thank you for checking into this for me!

I really wish there was an SKS style way to lock the shovel using the # Y07078 to your roof basket but unfortunately there isn't. If the shovel had a handle with a opening you could run a cable lock through it like part # e98891 though. You'd want to route the cable through the handle of the shovel and then around one of the bars on the basket as well.
