I have the companion hitch for the 2017 3500 Chevrolet. I traded that for a 2020 3500. Do I just need the replacement base BWRVB3710 and I can still use my existing hitch head?

Yes, you are correct! Assuming you already have the B&W Companion 5th Wheel hitch # BWRVK3700 (20k lbs) or #BWRVK3705 (25k lbs), the Replacement Base for B&W Companion Hitch # BWRVB3710 will work with your 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the factory 5th Wheel towing prep package.
