Question:
How are you applying power in that video if the wiring is attached to the tester, and it is not an in-line tester, how is the power applied?

The power source used to test the Brophy Circuit Tester for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # F4CT in the referenced video I included is the Tekonsha Bench Tester # 7585. I've also included a review video for that product as well.
