Question:
What is best travel trailer dolly with brake for 4500 lb trailer dry weight. Hitch weight 465 lb

Expert Reply:
If you are looking for something that stays permanently attached to the trailer then the only thing we have is the Trailer Valet 5X # STC-V211 because it mounts directly to the frame and has a swivel feature for when you are traveling. You can also use the included drill attachment to help make moving the trailer easier/quicker. This has an automatic brake as well but the max tongue weight capacity if 500 lbs so if your will exceed that at all then you need to upgrade.
Aside from this you'll need to use one of the upgraded options from Trailer Valet that use a hitch ball to connect to the trailer. You can use one of the XL options, part # TVXL2 for a 2" hitch ball or part # TVXL25 for a 2-5/16" hitch ball, or we have some remote controlled options like the RVR5 # TVRVR5 which has a max weight capacity of 5,500 lbs and a max tongue weight capacity of 600 lbs.
