Question:

I have a problem, I bought a RAM 3500 2018 extra cab but a 6ft bed, I have a 5-car trailer and when I turn around it hits me with the trailer, the difference is about a foot, my question would be if the 5th wheel would help me lift plus the trailer to pass over the truck. Thank you

Typically short bed trucks need slider fifth wheel hitches to have enough turning clearance which it sounds like is your main issue. The slider hitch moves back and gives you clearance to make tight turns.

Problem is there's no way to use a fifth wheel hitch with the trailer you sent in a picture of.

You do have the factory fifth wheel rail kit in your 2018 Ram 3500 so the best option is a slider hitch that attaches to it like the Curt Q24 slider part # C16546 with the Ram rail kit adapter part # C16022 and then finally a different trailer that uses a fifth wheel pin box attachment.
