Will Trailer Dolly Work Going Downhill
Published 08/07/2019 >
Question:
I see that it works for moving a trailer up an incline. Does it have anything in place to slow the trailer from rolling downhill while moving it?

The Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover - Topwind - 15" Lift - 500 lbs # STC-V211 is designed to work on mostly level surfaces so this - along with any tow dolly - is not something you want to use to move a trailer down a hill as that could be very dangerous. The Trailer Valet can help go up a slight incline for a short distance.
What you will need to do in order to remain safe is use the Trailer Valet on surfaces as close to level as possible and if you need to bring it down a hill the best thing to do is tow it there and use the Valet as needed for a short distance.
