No Brake Lights To Trailer Connector On Motorhome

Question:

I hooked my small utility trailer to the motorhome wiring plug, and, again the brake lights would not work. signal lights worked fine. the brake lights will also not work with my jeep in tow mode.

The brake and turn signal lights will be ran through the same circuit on the trailer connector for your motorhome so that is certainly an odd issue. I recommend you test the right and left stop/turn signal pins on your trailer connector to make sure the proper signals are being sent. If they are not which appears to be the case then there is likely an issue with the way the trailer connector is wired or you simply have a blown fuse. There could also be an issue with the body control module (BCM) as well so you just might be better taking the motorhome into a service center but I recommend looking over your fuse box first.
