Question:
I am interested in buying the adjustable trailer hitch. I have an 2018 Avenger ATI 21RBS and was wondering if i purchased the adjustable trailer hitch and put a cargo carrier on it , maximum weight 500 ibs. Would that cause problems with the handling of the trailer.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Multi Fit hitch part # 13703 has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs so you wouldn't be able to carry 500 lbs on the hitch as that would damage the hitch and possibly your trailer frame.
If you could keep the cargo weight under 350 lbs including the weight of the carrier this would work fine, but if not then this would not work for you and we don't have a higher rated option that would also work.
