Determining if Spacers Are Needed to Install Reese Goose Box on Trailer Frame

Question:

My wing set is a Lippert but it has no model number on it. It is on a 2017 Montana 3820FK. Do I use the 20,000# RP94720 with the RP61301 adapter.

If the pin box bracket width on your trailer (where the pin box normally fits into) measures 12-1/2 inches then you'd need to use the adapter part # RP61301 with the part # RP85FR. If instead it measures 12 inches no adapter would be needed.

While you are out there measuring it though you should also check out the help article I attached that covers how to measure a pin box to determine it's model so that you can verify for sure what you need.
