The Reese Goosebox works very well. It's air ride feature would spare the frame from the beating it would experience from other gooseneck adapters. Lippert is the largest manufacturer of 5th wheel frames, and they have endorsed the Goosebox, and have stated that using the Goosebox won't invalidate their frame warranty.
Since it works okay with Lippert frames, there's no reason to believe it wouldn't work with a Northwood frame, but if your RV is still under warranty, then using an air ride gooseneck adapter COULD have warranty implications.
However, in order to check to see if we offer a Goosebox that will fit I will need to know which OEM pin box was used. If you contact Northwood with your VIN, they should be able to tell you the manufacturer and part number pin box used. Or, if you know the part number of the 5th Airborne Sidewinder you're using, I can determine if there's a Goosebox fit.
Or as another alternative, you could measure the bolt spacing where the pin box connects to the 5th wheel, which would help identify which OEM pin box you had. I'll link you to a help article that shows the bolt spacing/pattern on the most common pin boxes.
Here's the Goosebox model that is available, and the OEM pin boxes it replaces.
Reese 20K capacity # RP85FR replaces:
• Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 0719 pin boxes. It will also replace 1716 with the adapter plate # RP97FR.
If you could reply with either the part number of your Airborne Sidewinder or the bolt spacing, I'd be happy to recommend something.

The Reese hitch pin i have is Reese 61422 Elite Airborne/Sidewinder 16K. I believe that is the combo part number because the label on the hitch is different 5AS16K. Will the Reese Gooseneck work on my Ram Short Bed and which model gooseneck will work with my pin box?
