Hi, Can a class 1 1-1/4 Inch Hitch fit a 4 bikes rack for the Elantra 2011? I read on your website that Class 1 hitches could not support 4 bikes. Thank you.

A Class I trailer hitch such as the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24902 that fits a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Sedan or Draw-Tite # 24844 that fits a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring are only rated to carry a maximum of two bikes because they do not have the support to carry four bikes.

If you wanted to carry four bikes you could use one of those hitches (depending on your model of Elantra) with a Class I rated bike rack such as the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style # S64650, along with a roof rack and two more roof-mounted bike racks.

The most economical option for a 2011 Hyundai Elantra, assuming you have a naked roof (with no rails) is the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # SR1010 for a 4-door Sedan.

With these racks the most budget-friendly roof-mount bike rack is the Upright Roof Bike Carrier # S64720.
