The best choice would be the Convert a Ball Gooseneck adapter part # CAB-C5GX1216 because it is cushioned whereas the other option is not.
That said if you have a Lippert pin box on your trailer the best option is the Reese Goose Box adapters like the part # RP85FR which fits the very popular Lippert 1621 pin box. This has a much more advanced cushioning system since it has an air bag and shock setup. But there are only options for these to fit Lippert 1621 pin boxes.
