Question:

I like the Kit # 521451-5 for my Cherokee because it seems to be easiest to install, simpler to use and does not stick out of the grille as far as Kit # 521451-5. Will the Falcon All Terrain work with the EZ5 kit without using the crossbar? Will I need to purchase the Falcon 2 bar instead? Another issue is protection for the front end of my Cherokee. I like the Guardian system best but the Tow Defender may be what works with the Falcon 2 bar. Can you help?

The Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar part # RM-522 will attach directly to the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-5, the crossbar included with the tow bar will not be used with the Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit only the Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit.

That said, the above option will not allow you to use Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard part # RM-4000 as this requires the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-4. If you were going to use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit then your only option for vehicle protection is the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening part # RM-4750.

It won't matter if you are using the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar or the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520, the above still holds true for both.
