Solution for Yakima Holdup Bike Rack that Has Broken Hold Down Arms

Hello, I have an old Yakima Holdup Bike rack Silver version and need to replace just the locking hold down arm. Can you buy just this arm or do you have to buy the whole bike tray assembly?

Looks like you have a Yakima Holdup that was made from 2008-2009 based on your picture. The replacement parts for it are a bit limited due to it's age which means that from Yakima you can only replace the front tray assembly with # Y90197 or the rear with # Y90198.

We do have the correct part for you, but the 8880833 is only a fit for the Yakima HoldUp EVO Bike Rack , as opposed to the standard Yakima HoldUp bike rack. Based on your photo, you do not have the EVO, you have the standard HoldUp. The arms are not…

There was a color change on the knobs of the Yakima TwoTimers like you noticed. The #8880535 comes with the current color but functionally it's the exact same so you don't have to worry about matching what you have now to this.
