How Many Bolts Are Needed To Secure the Erickson Horizontal E-Tracks

Question:

Im am gonna be hauling an utility vehicle on my alum trailer. The bolt holes are ever 2, what is the recommended spacing for bolts if I use carriage bolts?

I spoke with Erickson about the Erickson Horizontal E-Tracks like part # E19148 and they stated that in order to obtain the full weight capacity you would need to use every hole. If you do not need the full weight capacity then you would just need to use your best judgement but there really isn't a formula for this. I would think using every other hole would be suitable with carriage bolts.

I have attached a list of all other lengths for you as well.
