Item # DM9511013 that you referenced. For lighting you can use the bulb and socket kit # RM-155 which avoids you having to cut and splice the vehicle wiring. For a braking system the easiest system to set up is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400 that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the two vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. You might also need a high-low hitch adapter like # RM-048-6 and the linked article will help you select the correct one to keep the tow bar level.
