Question:
Would this light kit work in conjunction with wiring kit 118482 on my 2014 mitsubishi outlander se? For the wiring harness specs, it says Maximum amperage: Stop/turn lights: 2.1 amps per circuit Tail lights: 5.6 amps per circuit The light kit says Note: Lights included in this kit pull 2.5 amps for stop/turn function and 1 amp for tail signal. Please check the amperage capacity of your vehicle wiring harness to ensure this light kit will not overload your wiring harness. Im not sure if the light kit will overload the wiring harness since it pulls 2.5 amps for stop/turn lights while the max amp for the harness is 2.1. Would this lighting kit be better used with the CURT wiring harness instead, or would either work?

That is an excellent question and the answer is that your 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander will need to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56189 with the Submersible, Under 80" Trailer Light Kit # TL5RK due to the amperage draw you referenced.
The Curt kit has a max amperage of 3 amps per circuit, which will be needed for the 2.5 amps of the trailer light kit; the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118482 has a 2.1 amp capacity, as you noted, and would not be suitable for this particular light kit.
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
