Does Return Vent Need to Install on Sewer Tank When Installing Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent
Updated 07/10/2019 | Published 07/09/2019 >
Question:
I intend to use this product as part of my sewer venting system in my camper renovation. Do I need to add something like a check valve or on-line valve for air to enter into the black tank in order for the cyclone to be able to pull air out ?

You do not need to add any additional valves or holes in your sewer tanks when installing this Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent # CAM40597. The fin that runs through the horizontal opening allows air to be pulled out while allowing air to return back to the tank enough that it's still effective. The amount of air needed to move out of the tank for this to be effective is not a high enough volume that you'd need a return vent as well.
