The first thing that I recommend you do to test the brake output circuit on your 2014 Ford F-150 is turn the power settings up to max on the brake controller, have a friend apply the manual override, and test the 1 o'clock pin on the 7-way. If you don't get 12 volts then you will need to sever the brake output behind the brake controller and test again for power with the manual override applied at full power. If you don't get 12 volts then replace the brake controller. If you do get 12 volts then there is a wire short between the brake controller and trailer plug.

If you get 12 volts on the brake output circuit of the trailer connector then you have an issue with the trailer and you will need to first trace the wire back to the assemblies to see if shorts are found but also don't forget to check the pins inside the plug.
