Recommended Furrion Camera System for Observation on Trailer

Question:

Is the FOSO5TASF the observation package. It says backup camera in the description. I have have read bad reviews on the backup system but the observation system has better reviews. I am looking for the 5” monitor. Just want to make sure I am ordering the right package

The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Camera System # FOS05TASF that you referenced is typically used for observation but it can also be used as a backup camera - it simply depends on which circuit you connect the power wire too (reverse light signal or a constant power source like the running lights). We label this as a backup system but it's official product title from Furrion is indeed "Digital Wireless Observation System".

This particular system works great as an observation setup with its 5 inch full color LCD touch screen monitor and a camera that has a 120-degree viewing angle. The camera also features 8 infrared LED lights to provide clear night-time vision and an integrated IR cut filter to block out bright infrared lights during the day.

If you check out the installation video I attached you can also see that we did set the camera up for observation.
