B&W Companion Slider Stuck in Gooseneck Hitch Troubleshooting

Question:

yea, I got it unstuck! Used four ratchet strap and the front end loader of a tractor, I crawled underneath and sprayed wd-40 around the receiver and used a blow nozzle then went to pulling. She cane free. I won’t do that again!

Sounds like your B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400 is stuck in the gooseneck ball shank of your truck bed. What we normally recommend when this happens is to connect to a fifth wheel trailer like you normally would, and then with the pin pulled out from the shank of the gooseneck hitch use the landing gear jacks to see if you can lift the hitch out of the truck bed. This is a great way to gain a mechanical advantage over the problem.

Once you get it out I'd recommend greasing the ball opening with white lithium grease.
