I reached out to my contact at Dutton-Lainson and she said that there is not a ratcheting handle available that's compatible with the DL1402A model Hand Winch # DL15303.
For one that can be used with a ratcheting handle a higher-rated winch is needed such as the excellent Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL14527 that features a 1,600 pound weight capacity. With this particular winch you can replace the handle with the Ratcheting Handle # DL70371.
