Recommended Dutton-Lainson Winch for Boat Lift with 2,900 Pound Boat

Question:

I have a 3600 lb rated boat lift with my 2900 lb boat on it. Which Dutton-Lainson model winch would be sufficient? The B1500, 2500, or 3500.

For your boat lift I highly recommend going with the 3,500 Pound Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL24844. This will provide you with more than enough capacity which is just going to allow for much easier operation along with a longer-lasting unit. This particular winch is also perfect for boat lift applications as it features an integrated automatic braking mechanism to lock loads into place and the handle can be replaced by a large wheel like what you would have for your lift.
