The Lens says this on it - Peterson DOT AIST 90 440-15 The lens has a crack in it and is missing some of foam gasket that goes around perimeter of lens Does that mean anything to you?

Expert Reply:
It really all depends on what trailer light kit you have installed on your boat trailer. Some kits are designed to withstand submersion and other kits aren't. If you can let me know what kit is on your trailer (not just the type of bulbs you use) I can help you determine if it is submersible (granted we carry it).
Another thing to note is that you need to make sure your trailer wiring is unplugged before backing the trailer into the water. Even if your lights are submersible, if you don't unplug the wiring before backing into the water they could become damaged.
