Question:

Will your Anderson hitch fix the problem of my 5th wheel trailer running into my ram boxes when I turn?

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs # AM3200 does give you a 9 inch offset but when talking with their tech he said that to use with RamBox the red coupler needs to be turned 180 degrees so it sits in front of the hitch. That reduces your offset to 1 inch but if you have a 6-1/2 foot bed it will work with limited turning clearances unless you have a rounded 5th wheel trailer. The 5-1/2 foot bed is likely not going to work.

Your other option is to use a standard fixed mounted 5th wheel hitch and then use a Sidewinder pin box which will move the pivoting point back 22 inches. This is the only fit we know works with the 5-1/2 foot bed and the 6-1/2 foot bed alike. I've linked the page to these options as well as to an article to help with the fit.

If I use a anderson hitch with the Adapter 180° like you mentioned would it be better or worse to use B&W 4" offset gooseneck ball? I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Mega Cab with Ram Boxes I believe the bed is 6'4"

@Josh The Andersen Ultimate Connection # AM3200 we carry on our site is the one that connects to the truck via 5th wheel base rails, so you wouldn't be able to use an offset gooseneck ball with it. If you have the aluminum version Anderson Hitch then you should be able to connect it to the 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4685, yes.
