Question:
Im looking to setup my 2018 F-150 to tow behind my 38inch Holiday Rambler with air brakes. I like the RM -676 as the tow bar, but not sure which supplemental braking system would be best for a coach with air brakes. What is the difference in setup between the one time setup and the recurring setup. Is it a lot of effort to set up each time with the recurring? Also, the coach only has a 6 pin connector at the rear. Its an older model but I was surprised that it didnt have a 7 pin.

The "reoccurring setup" supplemental braking systems like the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR aren't terribly difficult to install each time they are used. Basically you set the unit into the floorboards of the vehicle so that it can press the brakes of the vehicle and then plug it into a power outlet and you are ready to go. It's a very basic process and once you've done it a couple times takes no time at all.
Since your motorhome has air brakes the permanent install kit you need is the Air Force One part # SM99243 which has a much more involved initial install. But once installed is very simple to connect. But I feel I do need to emphasize the install is pretty time consuming and involved. I attached an install video for it on a similar truck for you to check out as well.
To swap out your 6-way to a 7-way you'd then want the part # HM40975-11998 if you were wanting to make the upgrade.
