Altitude Rating for Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater

Question:
What is the altitude restriction on this heater? Few years ago tried one of these type of tankless water heaters and it would not function properly above 6500 feet in elevation.

Hi Roger; the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR has been tested up to 4,500' of elevation. If you plan on using it for prolonged periods of time at a higher altitude Furrion asks that you contact them at [email protected]. A software update will be required to compensate for a higher altitude.
