Question:

Im seeing a few different models for my Truck. 1. Which one is the exact one I would need? I have the backup camera as well. 2. Does it come in any other colors besides black? I have the Modern Steel color. 3. Does it unlock with remote, hands free, button on lever, or Key Fob? 4. My gate already has a key lock in it, can I replace this key lock with my current one?

There are two tailgate lock options for your 2019 Honda Ridgeline, the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8600 if you just want a power lock or the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Handle part # PL8675 if you want both a power and manual lock as well as a new handle. They will both work with the factory tailgate handle backup camera. The handle only comes in black but you could take it to shop and have it paint matched for your truck if you please.

In regards to unlocking the tailgate, this will be done with the key fob or the proximity sensors if you tie the unlock/lock wires into the driver side of the vehicle. If you tie them into the passenger side then it would not unlock with the proximity sensors. These options will both work with and in place of your factory tailgate lock.
